You must have some guts to paint your walls in a dark colour and I must admit, not everyone gets away with this bold move. Key is to keep the rest of the house ‘fresh’ like the one below that is currently for sale at Stadshem.
I love the colour theme of this living room: the warm cognac sofa and armchair are combined with light grey walls, white furniture and blue accessories. The brown instantly creates a cosy atmosphere in the room full of cool shades. And who would mind having a fireplace in the living room? I wouldn’t!
The lucky new owners of this apartment will have a grand dining room. For this space they choose to paint the walls in a grey / black shade. A bold move, especially because the flooring is also quite dark. The white plinths and door frames make sure the colour isn’t too heavy.
This looks like a wonderful bedroom to sleep in because of the light space and the muted grey textiles that are used for the bed. The eyecatchers in the room are the wooden cabinet and the old school chair that is used as a bedside table.
The kitchen and bathroom look great thanks to the styling of the spaces. The plants and the brown details like the perfume bottles and the pots and pans against the wall give the spaces a cosy touch.
I love this hallway, especially the huge map of Asia and Australia. The space is functional and a pleasure to look at. Simply perfect!
