There are lots of reasons to have a small apartment even after you have finished studying. For example: if you do not have kids and want to live in a characteristic building in the city centre. Having a small home has its benefits. There is less space to clean, the heating costs in the winter time are limited and it is easy to create a cosy home like the one below from Bjurfors that is for sale in Gothenurg.
I love this living room which also is the place to sleep and study. Every corner in the room has its own purpose: there is even a spot left for a little antique fireplace. A cosy atmosphere is created by using natural materials like wood and linen and by using the beige rustic paint. The glass vase attached to the wall is beautiful and I adore the Wishbone chair designed by Hans J. Wegner for Carl Hansen & Son that is used to sit on by the desk.
The kitchen is a bit dated but still lovely thanks to the romantic/rustic vibe and the amazing styling. The dining table with the turquoise painted chairs and the rattan bench is very inviting to have great breakfast, lunch or dinner at.
